PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECTS
These are examples of a few of my favorite photography projects that I have shot. All these photos show different techniques used to capture interesting shots of everyday objects.
Light
These three are photographs where I used light to help me capture my intended goal. The light was used to help me make these objects appear as if they were in different settings, although they were all shot in the same location.
Photo Techniques
For these photographs, I used different techniques on the objects to achieve interesting apperances.
A Study in Abstract Glass
Glass is a very challenging subject to photograph. Successfully capturing all sides of it while trying to not lose the glass' appearance proved to be the most difficult photography challenge I have faced.
Trying to show a glass in a unique way proved to be a fun challenge. Instead of photographing the glass cups straight on and presenting them for what they are, I placed my glass on a large glass surface resting on top of a colored gel and a roll of frosted acetate, with an allure light underneath it.
